EDT Releases 4.3” TFT LCD Displays

EDT, available through GLYN High-Tech Distribution, introduces its new 4.3” TFT LCD displays with 480W (RGB) x 272H dots resolution. Module size (W x H x T) is 105.5 x 67.2 x 5.1 mm while viewing area is 100 x 57.9 mm.  With white background colour and LED backlight, the module has a high brightness spec of 450 cd/m2 (typ).  Touch panel option is also available. The LCD controller/driver is HIMAX 8655/8227 with the datasheets available from GLYN.  A 40-pin interface is provided which includes digital RGB888, HSync, VSync, Clk, and Display On/Off signals, and supply lines 2.5V VCC and 5V AVDD.
